Several aspects of our current world situation have arisen that have caused Ironwood Engineering, Inc. to add in totally new line of work that deviates substantially from the world of Petroleum Engineering, Upstream Oil and Gas and Well Work.  The main components are primarily:​

• An apparent increase in natural disasters

• An increased desire to help people, especially through complicated processes

• The occurrence of the Corona Virus Pandemic and it's effects on the way we live

Note, this direction still maintains both the core values and philosophies of Ironwood Engineering, but adds a more personal touch as it deals directly with individuals.  Personal experiences have shown how difficult it is to navigate insurance policies and how it's even more difficult to know what the individual options and rights are and how to stand for them.

In very simplistic terms, insurance companies have two primary objectives: to insure you and your property by spreading risk over a large number of people and to make a profit.  The is a problem with that vision is it doesn't include the policy owners total vested interest.  When a disaster occurs, the policy adjuster will value the property and damage according to the insurance company rules and guidelines, but this does not necessarily maximize the policy holders position.

The 30+ years of technical experience in the Oil & Gas industry along with the last 12+ years working on cutting edge technology steeped in both fine detail and large scale projects provide the understanding to navigate the preparation and defense of the policy holder claims.
